The lively community of Blind Bay is located in a pristine setting on the west side of the bay of the same name on the southern shore of Shuswap Lake.
Beautiful Blind Bay is so named because of the angle at which the bay joins Shuswap Lake. It is easy to travel down Shuswap Lake without noticing the bay at all, as it is almost concealed from sight.
The Shuswap Lake system in Southern Interior of British Columbia offers more than 1,000 kilometres of shoreline to explore, amidst spectacular scenery and a pristine environment.
The Shuswap boasts the largest houseboat fleet in Canada, and one of the largest in the world, offering a fabulous way to vacation with family and friends, lazily drifting along the lake gazing at blue skies and gorgeous mountains.

“Thank you for all the little extras your house has. Maybe things people wouldn’t even think they would like:
- Bar light at the sink
- Privacy stained glass look in kitchen and laundry room
- Mini fans in living room and main bedroom. Used all the time.
- Investing in a good dock with attached boat protectors (as we forgot our dock buddy inflatable.
- Comfortable furniture in the home and on the deck
- Nice outdoor fire pit with wooden chairs
- Kids gaming room
- Extra door separating the main bedroom from the two other bedrooms so the kids have quiet if parents wake up early.
Also: you have wonderful water pressure in the shower and the toilet flushed well too. (we stayed at a place with one bathroom before and it wasn’t as good) And a lot of rentals claim to have good air flow but yours REALLY does with those sliding doors and little windows at the rear of the house. And much more...Yes this is long but all these things make a trip enjoyable!”
